The SECRET to knowing if your acupuncture pathways need help!
What if you could judge for yourself whether or not your acupuncture pathways are out of balance? Well, you can, and I’m going to teach you the secret!
Symptoms ● Pain ● Emotions
If you have had an AcuGraph analysis at the clinic, I’ve already taught you the basics. Since teaching is my passion, let me teach you another layer.
Every acupuncture pathway is also associated with a season. Since fall is only about 30 days away, let’s take a quick look ahead—and I’ll teach you how to prepare.
The acupuncture pathways associated with fall are:
The Lung
and
The Large Intestine
How do you know if your Lung or Large Intestine Pathway is out of balance? It’s simple. Symptoms, pain and emotions. Your body will tell you. All you have to do is listen.
The Lung Pathway:
- Symptoms: Fatigue, shortness of breath, wheezing, asthma, a weakened immune system, a tendency toward allergies
- Pain: Breast, shoulder, elbow, wrist
- Emotions: Grief, worry, sadness, depression; a tendency to cry often
The Large Intestine Pathway:
- Symptoms: Constipation, diarrhea, poor digestion, shoulder pain, neck pain, inflammation, IBS
- Pain: Shoulder, neck, head
- Emotions: Repressed emotions, difficulty letting go
The best ways for you to strengthen the Lung and the Large Intestine pathways are:
1. Clean up your diet to resolve inflammation
When you exhibit lots of symptoms, it’s often a sign that your body is inflamed and you need to clean up your diet. Start with eliminating the following MAJOR contributors to inflammation to improve your immune system.
Dairy, sugar, gluten, saturated fat, and processed foods.
2. Food and supplements that strengthen the Lung and Large Intestine Pathways
Since fall is right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to transition to a diet that strengthens your immune system AND helps to resolve inflammation.
Food: Avocado, peaches, apricots, apples, cherries, plums, chicken, beans, potato, cucumber, mushrooms, spinach, squash, asparagus, cabbage, carrots, and green tea.
Supplements: Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Magnesium, and Zinc
3. Come in for an acupuncture tune-up
If you have several of the symptoms on the list above, we recommend you come in for a seasonal tune-up. We’ll include acupuncture, frequency specific microcurrent, and ozone therapy. This will reduce inflammation, promote circulation, boost your immune system and balance out those emotions!
